The Scottish bowel cancer screening programme is commencing again on 12^th October 2020 after a brief suspension due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In Scotland they use the Faecal Immunochemical Test for this programme which requires only one stool sample. If caught early bowel cancer is treatable, and bowel cancer screening is an effective method of detecting this condition.
